Binnen ca. 20 autominuten staat u in hartje Amsterdam, Schiphol of Utrecht.

DESCRIPTION
Ground floor: the front door of the villa is on the side and gives access to a classic entrance hall, where the beautiful authentic stained-glass doors give a foretaste of the rest of the villa. The stained-glass work recurs more often, in the windows, but also the pattern in the entrance gate to the yard.
After the vestibule with cloakroom, you enter the hall with granite floor and classic wall tiles, both with black piping. This hall, with beautiful wooden staircase leading up, gives access to the living and dining room en suite, the kitchen and study.

The living and dining room en suite can be separated by the typical 1930s sliding doors, which slide open into fixed cupboards. Both rooms, and the side room have a fireplace with the original bluestone fireplaces, in which an inset fireplace and side convection ensure optimal use of heat. The dining room has French doors to the garden. Through the hall you will find another separate library or TV room with fireplace at the front.

The kitchen with marble floor tiles, is compact but efficiently laid out. The original wooden kitchen cupboard is the eye-catcher here. There is a cellar cupboard accessible from the kitchen. Through the kitchen you walk to a spacious utility room. Here you will find the toilet, laundry room and lots of cupboard space, including the central heating system.

First floor: on the first floor, the landing leads to four bedrooms. The master bedroom has fitted wardrobes, and en-suite doors to the second room fitted as a bathroom. This bathroom has a freestanding bath, generous tiled double walk-in shower, sink and toilet. From the bath, there are beautiful relaxing views over nature and water.

The second bedroom is now used as a study and has a closet. There is a large oak floor on this floor. The third room has a wide view over the Amsterdam Rhine Canal and is currently used as a second kitchen. Via the staircase outside, this room and thus the first floor, can also be reached. The floors can therefore easily be divided.

Finally, there is the attic with two dormer windows. On the landing here, you will find the third toilet and a second shower, smart built-in cupboards. The rest of the attic is a bright space, to be used as a bedroom or hobby room.

Plot: the garden measures over 800 m2 and is bordered by a ditch over a large part. There is plenty of privacy, a generous sun terrace by the house, a geometric front garden, a lawn with willows, wood storage at the side.
The terrace borders the back of the house and along the south side there is a path to the back.

On the north side, at the end of the driveway, is the garage. This was newly built in 2000 under architecture in the style of the house. The garage has an electric garage door, windows, cavity walls, water, electricity, heating and a storage attic and is good to use as, for example, a home office or practice. Next to it is a well-sheltered carport of 28 m2.

The villa is located along the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal, so there is always a beautiful view of the water and large shipping. In short: A quiet, generous house with original details in good condition, lots of rooms and a spacious garden.

"For us, this has always been a unique place with incredible freedom"
